Facts about Red Belly Piranha
The Red Belly Piranha is a very aggressive and a very dangerous fish. You need a larger tank for them. They will eat your smaller fish. Fron South America they will grow up to 12 inches long and can live 8 to 10 years. They are carnivores, feeding them can become expensive because they prefer live foods. Give them flakes and pellet food for their primary nutritional needs, supplement with live foods.
